The Medical Board of California’s Expert and Medical Consultant Programs are seeking licensed medical doctors who have training and experience in oral/maxillofacial surgery to assist with quality-of-care complaints received by the Board.  

This is a great opportunity to gain peer-review experience, weigh in on the standard of care, and support the integrity of the profession. The work is intermittent and online; the Medical Consultants and Experts help when they are available. The Medical Board of California emails our pool of MCs and Experts when they have cases in their specialty area and ask that if anyone is interested and available to reply to an email. There is no penalty for declining an opportunity.
